Facts:

56,000 tonnes of concrete and steel went into creating the Stadium in a construction project that ran between 1997 and 1999 on the site of the old National Stadium.

To make the best use of the site space available, the design for the Stadium saw the orientation of the main bowl area move through 90 degrees to run North to South.

Since opening in June 1999, the Millennium Stadium has welcomed, on average, over 1.3 million visitors per year.

Sporting the first fully-retractable roof in the UK, the venue is at the leading edge as a multi-purpose, multi-faceted event venue

We will start with welcome drinks pitchside at 6.45 and a tour as we step behind the scenes of Principality Stadium and follow in the footsteps of rugby heroes.

Experience the thrill of a Head Coach team talk in the home changing room before entering the players tunnel and making your way down to the hallowed turf.

Stop off at the Ray Gravell Press Conference suite, as you walk the famous halls and explore the magnificent facets and features that make Principality Stadium one of the most impressive icons of modern Wales.

Dr Arlene Egan, CEO, Roffey Park Institute

Arlene has twenty-five years-experience working in leadership and management development. Her experience in delivering development excellence spans executive education, higher education, sport, and local government sectors both in Ireland and internationally. Arlene was awarded a PhD from University College Dublin in Psychology for her work on designing, implementing and evaluating initiatives to enhance critical thinking. This work which built on her MLitt in Sport Psychology provides Arlene with a unique perspective on the link between thinking and performance and provides her with a deep understanding of how thinking can be optimised to promote focused performance. Arlene has designed and delivered bespoke programmes to enhance leadership practice and organisational function. Her specialist areas include team development, leadership development and performance, motivation, change management, innovation, creativity and critical thinking and has recently released a book aimed at third level educators entitled ‘Confidence in Critical Thinking’. As a consultant, Arlene has worked with Boards, C-Suite, Senior and leadership teams to identify the right learning environment to promote engagement and development within organisations. Arlene has held Non-Executive Director positions, and volunteers to work with social entrepreneurs. She has a passion for learning, leadership and transformation and remains an active researcher and writer in these areas

Cancellation Policy:

From 31st Jan 2023 to 16th Feb 2023 – half delegate rate is payable

From 17th March 2023 full rate is payable but transferable to another delegate
