Workshop Outline:

Loss of motivation has been one of the biggest themes emerging across employee populations post-pandemic. The Business Continuity and resilience community is no exception. There are many reasons for this – from the cognitive and emotional drain placed on us having to live through a prolonged, pressurised period of uncertainty to burnout from having played such a key professional role in crisis response. After two years of having a seat at the table, being seen as a trusted advisor at a time of such high-stakes for our institution, resilience professionals are now faced with returning to the day job – plans, processes, challenging stakeholders, complacency as a result of pandemic ‘wins’, and all the admin in between. This interactive masterclass facilitated by Charlie Hoare, Positive Psychology Coach at before nine, will help you to recognise the drivers of your motivation in life and at work, acquire evidence-based strategies to unlock your motivation and re-energise your connection to a sense of meaning and purpose.
